Bricks and ceramics

Several issues are common in the ceramic industry, and particularly in manufacturing bricks and tiles:
- Limited locations and reserves of shale clay quarries;
- Not containing chalk and salts, with a high content of iron oxides;
- Required aging for at least 12 months in the open air;
- Very energy-intensive processes, like baking and molding.
The latter negatively impact the quality and raise the price of final products.
A.R.T. Monbat has developed a new, unique liquid plasticizer based on carbon nanomaterials and polycarboxylate compounds in the presence of surfactants.
The use of the plasticizer allows for higher quality of ceramic tiles regardless of the production method and significantly reduces the production costs.
