Production Facilities
The main MONBAT production plant is located in the North-west Bulgarian town of Montana and spreads over a total area of 63000 square meters from which more than 41000 sq. m. is built area. The factory is equipped with modern assembly lines and formation compartments for the different battery types being manufactured. MONBAT also operates it’s own recycling plant for waste lead batteries.
- In the beginning of 2007 Monbat has acquired another manufacturing plant for batteries, located in North-east Bulgarian town of Dobrich. It will keep the brand name “START” for the products manufactured there.
- Two new recycling plants are under construction. One located in Serbia and another in Romania.
