MONBAT Plc officially joined the Bulgarian network of the Global Compact regarding supporting and complying with the corporate social responsibility principles. The company respects and declares to comply with the Global compact Principles through implementing in its activities socially responsible practices in the following directions:
1. To support and respect the protection of internationally proclaimed human rights within its sphere of influence;
2. To make sure that the company is not complicit in human rights abuses;
3. To uphold the freedom of association and the effective recognition of the right to collective bargaining;
4. Elimination of all forms of forced and compulsory labour;
5. Effective abolition of child labour;
6. Elimination of discrimination in respect of employment and occupation;
7. Support a precautionary approach to environmental challenges;
8. Undertaking of initiatives to promote greater environmental responsibility;
9. Encouraging the development and diffusion of environmentally friendly technologies;
10.Work against all forms of corruption, including extortion and bribery.
MONBAT Plc shall annually prepare a Corporate Social Responsibility Report of the management and shall announce it to the investors and the public.
