In September 2008 MONBAT Plc has generated net incomes from sales to the amount of BGN 14 626 000, which represents a 14.43 % growth, compared to September 2007. The summarized data for the first nine months of 2008 show that the company has generated net incomes from sales to the amount of BGN 135 158 000, which represents a growth of 59.15 % compared to the same period of 2007.

 

The generated profit of MONBAT Plc for September 2008 is BGN 2 573 000, which represents a profit growth of 11.86 % compared to September 2007. The summarized data for the first nine months of 2008 show that the company has generated profit to the amount of BGN 23 282 000, which represents a profit growth of 87.33 % compared to the same period of 2007.

 

The generated net incomes from sales only for the third quarter are to the amount of BGN 41 674 000 and the generated profit for the same period is BGN 7 939 000.

 

Only for the third quarter of 2008 the Management Board of MONBAT Plc had prognosticated net incomes from sales to the amount of BGN 43 500 000 and profit before taxes – to the amount of BGN 8 700 000 and for the first nine months of 2008 - net incomes from sales to the amount of BGN 136 984 000 and profit before taxes – to the amount of BGN 24 043 000.

 

The non-fulfillment of the prognoses, made by the management is due to the sharp decrease of the lead price which brought to respective decrease in the sales price of the realized production.   

 

By the present moment, the Management Board of the company will not make any amendments in the annual consolidated prognoses. After the company presents the consolidates report for the third quarter of 2008 and analyzes the achieved results, the Management Board will assess whether it is necessary to reconsider the annual consolidated prognoses, made for 2008 and respectively – correct them.

 

MONBAT Plc will present an individual report for the third quarter of 2008 on Oct. 30th 2008 and the respective due information on the company’s activities for this period.
