For the first nine months of 2007, MONBAT Plc has realized incomes to the amount of BGN 84 924 000 which is an increase of 51.9 per cent in comparison with the same period of 2006. The increase of sales in physical aspect / on the level of accumulator batteries 55 Ah/ is 27 per cent compared to the first nine months of 2006.
 
The profit of MONBAT Plc for the reported period is to the amount of BGN 12 428 000 which is a profit increase of 130 per cent in comparison with the same period of 2006.

With the achieved results for the first nine months of 2007 MONBAT Plc appeared to be the most profitable company in the accumulator batteries branch in Europe.

The establishment of accumulator batteries with the brand of MONBAT on the European market is continuing as the export of the company for the first nine months of 2007 has been increase with 69.4 per cent compared to the same period of 2006. The export of MONBAT Plc represents 85 per cent of the company’s total sales. Main markets of the company in Europe are: Germany, Italy, Holland, Check Republic, Belgium, Romania, England, Poland, Greece, France.

The most essential growth in terms of the export markets is observed in Poland – the export for this country has grown 10 times compared to the first nine months of 2006. A considerable increase of the export is observed in the following countries:

Italy – 6 times increase of export;
Check Republic – increase of 133 per cent;
Germany - increase of 111 per cent;

The increase of sales in Europe is due mainly to the excellent quality of the production and the superb work of the company’s marketing team.
A decrease of export is observed in Albania, Serbia and Switzerland.
An increase of 17 per cent is observed for the sales on the domestic market.
The previously announced annual prognoses shall remain unchanged.
