With reference to the announcement of the results from the company’s activities for the first six months of 2007, we would like to inform the investors about the following:
1. The company has achieved revenue from sales in the amount of BGN 9 371 000 for the first six months of 2007. The company’s profit for June 2007 amounts to BGN 1 407 000.
2. The summarized data for the first six months of 2007 show that Monbat Plc has achieved revenues from sales amounting to BGN 50 990 000 which is an increase with 38 per cent compared to the same period of 2006.
3. The company’s profit for the first six months of 2007 amounts to BGN 6 825 000 which is an increase with 92 per cent compared to the same period of 2006.
4. The export of “Monbat” PLC for the first six months of 2007 has increased with 44 per cent compared to the same period of 2006. The main markets for the company remain Germany, Holland, Italy, Check Republic, Belgium, England, Romania and Greece. A considerable increase is noted in the export for Germany where the increase is 98 per cent.
5. A decrease is noted in the export for Hungary, Serbia, Macedonia and Albania.
6. An increase with 7 per cent is noted in the internal market.
7. After the analysis on the part of the management with a view to the achieved results for the first six months of 2007, the Management Board took a decision for amendments to be made in the company’s Investment Program and Registration Document regarding the amount of the revenues from sales and the profit of the company for 2007. The prognosis for revenues from sales shall be amended from BGN 110 000 000 to BGN 118 000 000. The prognosis for the net profit shall be amended from BGN 15 057 000 to BGN 15 500 000.
