Starter batteries

The main function of the starter battery is to secure the needed electricity for the starter, when you turn the starter key. Except this the starter battery must have enough power in order to maintain the engine operation for a short period of time (if the alternator does not work), but sufficient to come home or to reach the service facility. The starter battery must be capable of maintaining some consumers of electricity as well, which are not switched off in stopping the engine (such as mobilephone, audiosystem, stationary air - conditioner, etc.
